The GND-10 apparently does not translate heel and pitch data but the rest of it seems to be there. The 942 can now display the data from the instruments system, including wind data, compass data and so on. There is a device called a GND-10 which bridges the Nexus bus to a NMEA2000 bus. On the NMEA2000 bus is the 942 plotter, as well as a few other things. The instruments (displays) I have sit on the Nexus bus to present the data to the sailors. The Nexus server accepts data from the transducers, does some processing to make corrections and then publishes data on a Nexus Bus (which is RS485). ![]() Connected to the Nexus server is a wind transducer, a speed transducer, a magnetic compass with a heel and pitch sensor and a few other instruments. The instrument system includes a Nexus server. ![]() ![]() The Virb Ultra can do this, which is very cool, and the 360 is just that much cooler! I can now make 360 degree video with my instrument data embedded in it.
